Although it is almost Valentine’s Day at the time of writing, we are focused on Mother’s Day and Father’s Day as they are excellent times to consider a Family Portrait as a gift. Portrait work is something we want to plan for, so now is the time that we want to consider the gift your mother or grandmother will cherish for years.
Family Portrait Art is a forever heirloom gift that the family will enjoy for generations to come.
What would be involved in the consideration of a Family Portrait for Mother’s Day or Father’s Day this year?

I like to speak with my clients about their ideas, about their Family, and how we might capture the very personality of the family in our portrait.
Reserve a Date For the Sitting.
If Mom, Grandma, Dad or Grandpa are part of the portrait, which we highly recommend, it may be that you choose to do the sitting close to the Mother’s Day date as her surprise and select portraits together. We should discuss the session and plan our date before it is reserved by another occasion.
It may be that the portrait does not involve Mom and Grandma, or Dad and Grandpa, and in that case we can plan the session and have the framed canvas ready for gift presentation.
Take the time to consider which walls in the home the portrait will hang on. We can custom design artwork for her home with her precious family as the subject of the art. I am here to work with your family to create the most awesome Mother’s Day or Father’s Day gift they will ever receive.
Are you a new mom?
We couldn’t be more tickled for you! Is your daughter soon to deliver your precious grandchild? Our Babies First Year program is awesome and would make a forever cherished gift in honor of the new baby.
All of these ideas help you see why we might talk about Mother’s Day or Father’s Day when really it is Valentine’s time!
Let’s brainstorm your session now. Contact me at 865-429-3616 or email me through my Reserve a Session page. I look forward to knowing you more.
